DYSPHAGIA CLINIC

Portland State University (PSU) Speech and Hearing Sciences (SPHR) in conjunction with the Northwest Center for Voice and Swallowing (NWCVS) in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) offer clinical opportunities to PSU SPHR graduate students interested in medical speech-language pathology training in the area of dysphagia.

This clinic is supervised by Dr. Deanna Britton in an outpatient medical setting  focused on evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders. This clinic includes a strong emphasis on administration and analysis of MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study). To find out more about this excellent learning opportunity, contact: db23@pdx.edu
