Fall Voice Conference

The 2018 Fall Voice Conference took place October 26th and 27th in Seattle, WA. This conference is designed to encourage and educate professionals on a multi-disciplinary approach to the management of vocal disorders. The focus of this conference is the clinical care of patients with voice-related difficulties and how clinical and basic science research guide clinical care.

SSR Lab members and their projects included:

* Rachel Brooks: True vocal fold (TVF) kinematic measurement – A scoping review

* Alicia Heitzman: An epidemiologic investigation of self-reported voice disorders in Ghana

* Yu-Wen Chen: Extreme sawtooth sign in motor neuron disease (MND) suggests laryngeal resistance to forced airflow
